Hi, I’m Shehinah and I’m in the middle of one of the hardest but most honest seasons of my life.
I started Broke But Healing because I needed a space to breathe. To be real. To stop pretending that I had it all together when the truth is , I was falling apart inside and out.
I’ve been juggling multiple jobs just to survive. I’ve worked in housekeeping,cleaning, retail as a sales associate-you name it. And even with all that effort, the debt keeps piling up, and the stress never seems to let go. The bills come fast, the income feels too small, and mentally? I’ve felt drained, numb, and honestly just done.
But here’s the thing, I know I’m not the only one.
There are so many of us trying to balance financial survival with mental survival. Trying to pay off loans while staying sane. Trying to work multiple jobs while feeling burnt out and broken inside. And no one really talks about how connected money and mental health really are.
That’s why I created Broke But Healing, to speak the truth.
